Chris Hoiles

Chris has worked as an auto mechanic for 17 years, where he served as lead mechanic and interim manager for his family’s auto shop.  Now that we are lucky to have him onboard at Lake Country Geothermal, Chris takes care of our company fleet in addition to his geothermal system installation duties.

Chris has an incredible willingness to learn, an awesome spirit and hard work ethic. He is one of our most versatile team members. Having literally started in the trenches, Chris is skilled laying and fusing HDPE loop pipe… and he’s still occasionally called upon to help there. These days, you’ll more often find Chris in the mechanical room where he is one of our team leads for the inside installation.

Mark Knebel

Mark brings over 30 years of heating and cooling, plumbing and computer information systems consulting experience to Lake Country Geothermal and we are thrilled to have him on board! His analytical skills and attention to detail helps him to design the most efficient installation for our customers.

Since the age of 13, Mark has cultivated the entrepreneurial spirit by starting his first business at the age of 13. Mark now heads up our inside installation team. He enjoys relaxing and enjoying the outdoors when he’s not working.

Debbie Smith

Debbie brings over 25 years of customer service and marketing experience to her position of  Marketing Manager. She puts her creative skills to work designing marketing collateral, managing social media and maintaining the website.

In her off time, you can find her playing in the garden, writing and cooking her favorite healthy vegetarian meals.

Ken Cassidy

Ken comes to the LC Geo team with a broad background in heating & cooling including heat pumps, boilers, EPA refrigeration certification, ductwork, and plumbing. In addition, his skills in rough & finished carpentry, remodeling, and electrical frequently come in very handy. Ken is one of our inside installation team leads.

He enjoys his time off in the outdoors — solo rock climbing, camping, fishing and making maple syrup.

Jacob Anderson

Jacob worked in construction and ran heavy equipment before coming on board with Lake Country Geothermal. Now that he is part of our team, he primarily operates our excavator. In addition, Jacob manages all facets of our loop installations, including materials inventory, equipment maintenance, pipe fusion, and excavator transport. When he’s not doing loops, he’s helping on and learning inside equipment installation, e.g. heat pumps, air handlers, radiant floor heating system.

In his off time, Jacob enjoys exploring the outdoors, fishing, snowshoeing and backpacking.

Ann Harper

Ann’s background entails working in Math Education for over 25 years. In 2013, she transitioned to Office Management and Bookkeeping ,which became a full-time business.

Ann also has a degree in Biotechnology which she used for work in the laboratory and in the field of renewable energy.

Ann grew up working on her family’s farm. She loves gardening, bird watching, nature walks, and snuggling up with a good book or two in her leisure time.

Dylan Nuhn

Dylan graduated from Penn State with a Bachelors of Science degree in Geoscience in 2019. His interest has been to align himself with a company that is conservation oriented and helps preserve the environment. Now that he’s on board with Lake Country Geothermal as a geothermal technician, he is doing just that.

Dylan loves the outdoors and when he’s not at work, he’s enjoying his time hiking, canoeing, backpacking and fishing.

Rhonda Morse

Before coming on board with Lake Country Geothermal, Rhonda previously worked in the payroll and accounts receivable department for the Perry Central School District. Now that she’s on the team, she provides support to Ann, our Office Manager.

When not working, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her 9 grandchildren. She is also an avid crafter, including knitting, crocheting and needlepoint.
