Chris Hoiles

Chris has worked as an auto mechanic for 17 years, where he served as lead mechanic and interim manager for his family’s auto shop.  Now that we are lucky to have him onboard at Lake Country Geothermal, Chris takes care of our company fleet in addition to his geothermal system installation duties.

Chris has an incredible willingness to learn, an awesome spirit and hard work ethic. He’s skilled in HDPE pipe fusion and often works with Jesse building and installing our horizontal loops, but you’ll also frequently find him inside assisting Mark or Josh wiring up our heat pumps.

Mark Knebel

Mark brings over 30 years of heating and cooling, plumbing and computer information systems consulting experience to Lake Country Geothermal and we are thrilled to have him on board! His analytical skills and attention to detail helps him to design the most efficient installation for our customers.

Since the age of 13, Mark has cultivated the entrepreneurial spirit by starting his first business at the age of 13. Mark now heads up our inside installation team. He enjoys relaxing and enjoying the outdoors when he’s not working.

Bob Buckland

We refer to Bob as a “can-do” guy and that’s because he can pretty much do anything. More than that, he has a positive, “can-do” attitude. Bob owned his own home improvement business for many years before joining the team here at Lake Country Geothermal. Bob started in the field installing loops and assisting in the inside equipment installation, but we’ve since asked him to lead our sales team where he may have found his true calling – his extensive installation background enables him to really get into the  details of each  prospective client’s unique situation.

He enjoys a full range of outdoor activities when he’s not working, including camping, fishing and hunting. He’s been married for 35 years, has two sons, 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.

Jesse Buckland

Jesse, who has been an excavator for 9 years, is our soils expert and loop team leader. When he joined our team this summer, it enabled us to bring our horizontal loop excavation in-house, giving us greater scheduling flexibility. He is excellent at separating soil from rock or rocky soil during trenching so that the pipe can be enveloped in protective soil and as much of the topsoil as possible can be returned to the surface.  Despite his “dirt” background, Jesse is particular fond of doing pond loops, taking a leadership role in designing and installing them.

When he’s off from being an awesome excavator, you’ll find him relaxing in the outdoors and fishing.

Joshua Graves

Joshua Graves comes to the Lake Country Geothermal team with 10 years of HVAC experience including boiler maintenance, heat pump repairs, plumbing, duct work installation, and system design. He earned his Certificate in Liberal Arts /HVAC from Monroe Community College and Certificate in Refrigeration and Air conditioning from College of Technology. Josh currently does most of our water-to-air system installations.
Josh is married with six children. He enjoys spending his leisure time traveling, fishing and breeding bulldogs.

Debbie Smith

Debbie brings over 25 years of customer service and marketing experience to her position of  Marketing Manager. She put her creative skills to work designing marketing collateral, managing social media and maintaining the website.

In her off time, you can find her playing in the garden, writing and cooking her favorite healthy vegetarian meals.

Kyle Beach

Kyle comes to Lake Country Geothermal with seven years in the manufacturing industry, including sheet metal fabrication, valve assembly and machinery operation. As a new member of our team, Kyle is learning all facets of geothermal installation including wiring, duct work, pipe fitting and loop installation.

Kyle is also a blacksmithing instructor at Rochester Arc and Flame Center where he teaches the art of shaping metal. He is an avid member of New York State Designer Blacksmiths and enjoys having the opportunity to work with other talented architectural iron working professionals. He is passionate about his craft and continually strives to create his best work.

Hannah Luciano

Before coming on board as our Office Manager, Hannah worked in the automotive recycling industry, where she served three years in an office management capacity facilitating accounting and human resources responsibilities.

Her background also entails working at a apples storage for 10 years doing inventory and quality control. She earned her BS in Business Administration from St. John Fisher College.

Hannah and her husband Andy have a daughter Loren and two dogs. When she is not running the office, she likes spending time on family farm helping with the cows and enjoying quality time with her family. She also enjoys gardening, spending time on the water hunting and fishing.
